SCHOOL OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

GA/TA POSITIONS

In accordance with Article 12 of the CUPE 4580 Collective Agreement, Assistantships are available for the following term:

WINTER 2010 January - April

Specific Hiring Practices of the School of Science:

TAships

1. Cumulative grade point averages will be taken into consideration.

2. Student must have good English communication skills.

3. Teaching Assistants with previous experience and a positive evaluation will be considered first.

GAships

1. Must be a full time student currently registered in our Graduate Program - Computer Science (Master's II)

2. Year of program, specifically when program started, will be taken into consideration (seniority).

3. Academic performance will be taken into consideration.

4. Teaching and other relevant experience will be taken into consideration.

5. Previous positive evaluation as an Assistant at the University of Windsor, if applicable, will be taken into consideration.
