GA/TA Positions Available

The School of Computer Science is accepting applications for Graduate Assistants and Teaching Assistants.

In accordance with article 12 of the CUPE 4580 Collective Agreement, Assistantships are available for the following term:

Intersession/Summer Session 2010

Specific Hiring Practices of the School of Computer Science

TAs

1.  Students should have an "A" level grade in the course applied for.

2.  Cumulative average will be taken into consideration.

3.  Student must have good English communication skills.

4.  Teaching Assistants with previous experience and a positive evaluation will be considered first.

GAs

1.  Must be a full time student currently registered in our Graduate Program - Computer Science (Master's II)

2.  Year of program, specifically when program started, will be taken into consideration (seniority).

3.  Academic performance will be taken into consideration.

4.  Teaching and other relevant experience will be taken into consideration.

5.  Previous positive evaluation as an Assistant at the University of Windsor, if applicable, will be taken into consideration.
