6th Regional Secondary School Programming Competition

Date: Friday December 04, 2009 at 2:00pm
Location: Java Lab, Lambton Tower

CALLING ALL SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS INTERESTED IN COMPUTER PROGRAMMING!

It's that time of the year again for the 6th Regional Secondary School Programming Competition.  The Programming competition is preceded by two training sessions.  No programming experience is needed as you will received training in your tutorial sessions.  The first training session will be held on Friday, November 6th at 2:00 pm in 3150 Erie Hall.  This session is optional to students who have programming experience.  The second session is on Friday, November 20th, also beginning at 2:00 pm and is mandatory if your team is to compete.  The actual competition itself will be held on Friday December 4th and will be followed by an Awards ceremony.

Get your team together!   Secondary schools can bring as many teams along (space limited), but only two teams per school will be allowed to officially compete.  The "Spare" teams can work out the problems, but will not be qualified to win.  If you don't have a team, you are still welcome to join in on the fun.   We will assign you to a team.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three winning teams and the first place team will bring back a plaque to be displayed at your high school.  Register quickly as space is limited and this event has become very popular.  You can REGISTER ONLINE or print out the registration form and either fax or mail it to us.  No programming experience is needed as you will received training in your tutorial sessions.
