We are developing query rewriting algorithms, aiming at reengineering
database applications to EJB-based architecture.
There are several things that distinguish our work:
 | It is a new application area of query rewriting. |
| We are generating maximal rewriting, instead of the maximally-contained
rewriting as applied in data integration or equivalent rewriting that
is used in query optimization. |
