Senior Member, IEEE

Associate Professor
School of Computer Science
University of Windsor
Windsor, Canada

I received my Bachelor of Computer Science from the National University of San JuanSan Juan, Argentina, in 1993, and my Master's and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carleton University, Canada, under the supervision of B. John Oommen. I have been with the School of Computer Science at the University of Windsor, Canada, since 2002, as an Assistant Professor, and since 2008, as an Associate Professor. My current research interests are in pattern recognition, proteomics, transcriptomics and epigenomics.

I am a member of the Bioinformatics @ Windsor Lab. I created and maintain a protein-protein interaction prediction server PPIPAW.

Prospective Students:

I normally have opening positions for undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students. Partial financial support is currently available for outstanding PhD students.

Prospective students at all levels are encouraged to contact me about the current research projects on DNA microarray data analysis, protein interaction, DNA methylation, miRNA analysis, and some others. More information can be found in the Students web page.
